Welcome !
My name is Céline, I’m 32 years old, originally from Alsace and now living near Toulon on the Côte d’Azur.
I started traveling quite early on: first in France, then to more and more distant countries. I was amazed by the magic of the fairy chimneys in Cappadocia, the beauty of the Canadian Rockies, the extraordinary variety of New Zealand landscapes, the culture of the Pacific islands…
I still have so many regions to explore and even entire continents to discover. And yet, as I admired the variety of landscapes I encountered, I was reminded that France, too, has so much to offer: incredibly diverse landscapes, varied histories, different cultures, and so many people who deserve to be met.
So I wanted to become a tourist in my own country, to explore it with new eyes, the same eyes I have when I cross the border into a new country.
My aim with this blog is to take you on a tour of the French must-sees, but also to discover the hidden corners of France that only insider locals can reveal…

Today, this blog has grown, and it’s part of my job! I collaborate with tourist offices, tourist development agencies and brands to showcase their beautiful territories… But this doesn’t detract from my editorial freedom: I choose my projects carefully, and of course I’m free to write about my feelings, my favorites, and sometimes my disappointments too.
In addition to blogging, I have a 2nd profession: I’m a life coach! I accompany people who want to move forward in their lives and achieve a particular goal on a wide variety of subjects, both personal and professional. In particular, I help people who feel trapped by their hectic daily pace to take back the reins of their lives and build a daily life that reflects their own image…

And by the way, why “La Marinière”?
A French clothing cliché for foreigners, it’s also the garment I like wearing the most… And it’s also a little nod to one of my most memorable experiences, a year on board a French Navy ship…
